Mrs. Kikelomo Daodu (Director Account & Finance)

Banker, Chartered Accountant, consummate auditor, and seasoned public servant, Mrs. Kikelomo Dawodu, is the Director of Finance and Accounts in the Office. 

Easy going but factual, Kike, as she is by called her contemporaries, has paid her dues in the Accounting profession having gone through the mills as she progressed through the maze of development in the profession.

Young Kike had her first contact with the written word at Omolewa Nursery and Primary Institution, Ibadan between 1970 and 1977 after which she was at the Federal Government College, Oyo for her secondary school education from where, as the grades were then calculated, she graduated in Grade One. 

The then budding Accountant chose to attend The Polytechnic, Ibadan to hone her latent skills in the profession thus graduating with the Ordinary National Diploma, OND, (1985) and had her Industrial experience with Olutayo Adenekan & Co., Chartered Accountants. She then went back to her alma mater for the Higher National Diploma, HND, in 1987 with the Upper Credit. After observing the mandatory NYSC programme at the Federal Mortgage Bank, Abeokuta between 1987 and 1988, young Kike  ‘jumped into the fray’ of professional accounting with the then Republic Bank between 1989 and 1994, Access Bank 1994 – 1995 before joining Olurotimi Ibrahim & Co., (Chartered Accountants) between 1995 and September, 2001. 

Her public service experience commenced in October 2001 when she joined the Lagos State Treasury Office, where, having made her mark and set unprecedented standards, she was posted to the State Office of Works in March 2008. Her professionalism and experienced was thereafter made available to the Education District 1, Dairy Farm, Agege between April and September 2010 before duty came calling again, at the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development between January, 2011 and August 2015 when she was head-hunted as the pioneer Director of Accounts at the newly created Office of Overseas Affairs and Investments, Lagos Global. April 2016 saw her being moved over, again, to the State Treasury Office as the Director of the CPDVD until. From here she was moved briefly to the Ministry of Transportation and later to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. In between these various movements, Mrs Kikelomo Dawodu found time to go back to school to obtain a Masters Degree in Corporate Governance from the Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, United Kingdom in 2014.

 Cerebral Kike, a 1993 Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria who later became a Fellow of the same Institute in 2006, was again on the move, berthing, as it were, in the Office of Civic Engagement as Director, Finance and Accounts.

She is married with children.
