Mrs Akinsemoyin – Apata Gbemisola Rashidat Ajike was born 4th June, 1960.
She hails from Isale Eko from the Akinsemoyin Royal family Okepopo Lagos Island of Lagos State. She Attended Lagos Anglican Pry School, Broad Street from 1966 to 1973 fro her first school leaving certificate and Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls School Yaba for her West African School Certificate. She also attends Aiyetoro Comprehensive high School for “A” level certificate from the year 1979 to 1990, between 1981-1995 she attended one of the foremost University in the Country, University of Lagos Akoka Yaba, where she bagged Bsc in sociology, Msc Industrial Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at the same school, She later proceeded to Lagos State University (LASU) where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Administration in year 2003.
Mrs Akinsemoyin-Apata Gbemisola Rashidat Ajike joined the Lagos State Civil Service on 19th August, 1985 as a Master Grade II Teacher and later transferred to the main stream and she served in various Ministries and rose up to the post of Director Admin & HR GL.17. She is presently in the Office of Civic Engagement as Director of Admin & HR, GL.17.
Mrs Akinsemoyin-Apata GRA is a Patient – bird, a very dedicated and hardworking Officer who has contributed largely to the achievement of her State. She is a mentor and role model to many, a pleasant charming Officer who relate well with other staffs. She is happily married with children.
Her hobby includes travelling, Table Tennis and Reading.
