ALHAJA RAFAT OJUTOMORI ADEGBITE-SANUSI—– HOD, LEGISLATIVE

Alhaja Rafat Ojutomori Adegbite-Sanusi was born on 19th January, 1967 in Lagos Island. She attended Holy Trinity Primary School, Ebute-Ero, Isale Eko between 1973 and 1978 where she obtained her first school leaving certificate, she proceeded to Aje Comprehensive High School for her Secondary School between 1979 and 1984

For her tertiary education she attended Lagos State University (LASU) where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Political Science with Second Class Upper Division. In her quest for further education, she acquired a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration at Administrative Staff College (ASCON). Still yearning for knowledge she enrolled for Masters in Public Administration (MPA) at the same University in 2014 and successfully completed the course. She is a Member of Nigeria Institute of Management and Nigeria Institute of Training and Development.

Mrs Rafat Ojutomori Adegbite-Sanusi joined the service of Lagos State civil service in March, 2000 as an administrative Officer II and deployed to the Ministry of Environment. She served in the State Treasury Office between 2005 and 2008.

She was seconded to Lagos State Waste Management Authority in 2009, during the re-organization exercise and was appointed as Training and Protocol Directorate where she prepared Annual Training Programs, coordinated series of training programs for the management and middle level officers, Organized In-House Seminars and workshops and also handled all local and international/Conferences for the Authority. She Liaised with Lagos State Public Service Development Centre and other Training/Professional bodies for the training of staff.

In recognition of her Zeal and commitment to service, Mrs Rafat Ojutomori Adegbite-Sanusi was appointed as acting AGM Corporate Service in May 2014. She was promoted an Assistant Director (Admin &HR), and in March 2016 and deployed to the Office of Civic Engagement, Deputy Governor’s office where she is currently serving as the Head of Legislative Department.

A devout Muslim, she is happily married and blessed with children.

Her hobbies include reading and meeting people.
